  The Double Cone Uncoiler plays a crucial role in the initial stage of coil processing. It ensures smooth and stable unwinding of heavy steel coils, feeding material into subsequent equipment such as straighteners, feeders, slitting machines, or tube mill formers. Below is a typical workflow:

  1. Step 1: Coil Loading – The coil is loaded onto the double cone using a crane or coil car.

  2. Step 2: Hydraulic Expansion – The cones expand inward to securely center and grip the coil core.

  3. Step 3: Coil Rotation – Motorized rotation begins to slowly uncoil the strip under controlled tension.

  4. Step 4: Material Guiding – The strip is guided into a pinch roll or straightening unit for alignment and leveling.

  5. Step 5: Continuous Feeding – The strip enters the main processing unit (e.g., slitter, tube forming machine, etc.).
