Ele pode ser substituído durante trocas de turno ou outros períodos de inatividade e pode ser perfeitamente combinado com o dispositivo de remoção de rebarbas interno para resolver mais problemas do produto. A desvantagem é que é mais caro do que usar hastes magnéticas e mangas de haste magnética sozinhas.
