An HSS (High Speed Steel) Saw Blade is manufactured from high-speed steel with excellent toughness and wear resistance. It is widely used on cold saw cutting machines for cutting carbon steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, and various light-wall profiles.
One of the biggest advantages of HSS blades is that they can be resharpened multiple times after the teeth become dull, significantly reducing operating costs.

A TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Saw Blade features high-strength steel body with tungsten carbide teeth brazed onto the blade. Carbide teeth provide much higher hardness and wear resistance than HSS, allowing the blade to cut thicker materials at higher efficiency.
TCT blades are commonly used for cutting heavy-wall steel tubes, structural sections, solid bars, and other demanding applications where long blade life and high cutting performance are required.
Unlike HSS blades, damaged or worn carbide teeth are generally not resharpened in normal tube mill production. Once the cutting performance drops or teeth are chipped, the blade is typically replaced or professionally re-tipped.
