Product Details

1. Equipment Overview

The Pipe Oiling & Painting Line is an essential post-treatment system in welded pipe production, designed to apply anti-rust oil or protective paint onto pipe surfaces.
Its main functions are to prevent oxidation and corrosion, enhance appearance, and extend storage life.
The system can be fully integrated with sizing, cutting, marking, stacking, and packaging sections for continuous and automated production.

2. Working Principle

After pipe cutting, each pipe is conveyed through the oiling and painting line in the following sequence:

  1. Surface Cleaning

    • Dust, metal chips, and debris are removed by air knives or rotary brushes.

    • Optional wire brushing unit or electrostatic dust removal system can be added.

  2. Oiling / Painting

    • Depending on customer requirements, the system can be configured for oil coating or paint spraying using air or electrostatic spray guns.

    • Coating material is pumped from a storage tank through a metering pump, ensuring accurate flow and pressure control.

    • The spray unit provides 360° full-surface coverage with consistent thickness.

  3. Draining & Oil Recovery

    • After coating, pipes rotate slowly to allow excess liquid to drain and distribute evenly.

    • Recovered oil or paint is filtered and reused via the circulation system.

  4. Drying / Curing

    • The coated pipes pass through a hot-air or infrared drying chamber to solidify the surface coating.

    • Electric or gas heating systems are available.

  5. Cooling & Discharge

    • After drying, pipes are cooled and conveyed to marking, stacking, or packaging stations.
