This Heavy Duty Slitting Line features a Quick Change Double Slitting Unit designed for steel service centers, tube mills, roll forming plants, and coil processing facilities.
Unlike conventional slitting lines that require lengthy knife setup and arbor changes, this system uses two complete slitting units:

✔ One slitter prepared offline
✔ Automatic slitter exchange
✔ No manual arbor replacement
✔ Reduced production downtime
✔ Increased line utilization
When a width change is required, the active slitting unit automatically disengages and moves out along guide rails. The prepared unit then moves into position and reconnects to the drive system automatically.
